'Lovely cabin! But the deck, the view, the silence… were the winners! It just needed a lake to call it Walden. The kitchen could use some renovations. And the shower needs to be fixed, but overall lovely stay. One thing to be aware of, the surrounding areas before reaching the property are very unkept and destroyed. The games provided were fun too! We recommend it!'

'The property was exactly what we wanted for a trip to the Watkins Glen area with our 2 grandchildren. The kids enjoyed walking to the dock and around Weller Island The fire pit was perfect for nightly s’mores ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ! '

'My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and it was such a picturesque spot! The cabin itself is very cozy and has everything you need. The outdoor area is gorgeous, private, and peaceful. Of note the water is well water, which is safe to drink! Overall we would highly recommend!'

'Great little house for a small group of people the house was very clean,the house had everything you would need in it.The lake is right there The owner Brian has many boats to use on the beautiful lake my husband caught fish,Brian also told us about other things to do in the area which we did.We had a great time and would come back.'

'Fantastic stay! The cottage was beautiful, quiet, and comfortable for us, and we had everything we needed and more. The location is fantastic with lots of natural beauty, quiet roads to walk our dog, and a lovely view of the lake. We visited a few local businesses and had some great BBQ but we were mostly in town for a race. '

'The pictures did not do the beauty of the property justice! We loved our time at the fire looking at stars, surrounded by wildlife. The house was very clean, well stocked, and very homey. Would absolutely recommend!'

'Excellent all-around. The cottage was super-clean, in a quiet neighborhood, beautiful grassy yard to the lake, and had everything we needed. Upstairs master bedroom overlooking the lake was amazing.We had some last minute changes that came up and the owners were extremely accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended - would stay again!'

'Very nice home conveniently located outside of Watkins Glen. Even though it was on the main road, it was still very quiet. We didn't realize there was no TV in the house when we reserved it, but we were busy enough not to miss it. Property manager and owner very responsive. '

'Was a great stay! Hubby and I went for anniversary, we had suprise friends come for part of our time there and the house was just as pictures stated, everything was clean and nice towels in bathroom. They had some supplies there already for us like paper towels and toilet paper, plus dish washing soap too! We cooked for breakfast and had plenty of kitchen supplies to do that and nice Keurig coffee maker too! Owners were in touch with us when we first arrived and very nice, had a repair guy...

'Very remote, quiet location. Off of a dirt road so car got dirty. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Saw deer and other animals in the back yard. We enjoyed the plastic axe throwing game and the cornhole game. Nice interior as well with almost everything you need for a nice stay. Only negative thing to say is the water from the one bathroom sink had a sulfur smell, but the rest of the water seemed fine. Recommended and close to Watkins Glen and many other scenic locations.'

'Exciting and comfortable stay with a great, naturally-clean pond for swimming. Just a few minute drive to Watkins Glenn and remote enough to relax without any noises. Furnishings were all new or like new condition. '
