'Staff was terrible'

'There was nobody at the desk when we arrived for check-in. Multiple bell-rings, knocking on the staff door, walking the length of the hotel inside, and then the circumference of the hotel outside yielded zero staff members. It wasn't until I was circling back around the hotel that my partner came outside and said someone finally showed up at the front desk. Absolutely ridiculous. The room (room 112 iirc, it was first floor) had a dead lamp, moldy artwork in the bathroom, and a TV with an...

'Staff was in a rush, a bit sharp in conversation. No "drink upon arrival" as advertised. They didn't provide a robe/ person. We were short one robe, despite having to enter the hall to access the bathroom. No hair conditioner offered. The breakfast was pretty normal weekend fare (scrambled eggs with cheese, French toast with sandwich-sized bread), fresh fruit cup. No extra food offered on table.'

'A very lovely quiet, clean charming place. and it was a very comfortable bed. Everything smelled nice. Would definitely stay again. It was also set up in a way that you could just wing it yourself. Plenty of extras if you need in the hall.'

'This was a great rental for a small family. We enjoyed the amazing water view, sitting on the porch with our kids. The ability to cook and do laundry was an added plus that made us feel at home. We will be renting this baby again!'

' Rey clean lovely condo with a wonderful view of the river. Sunrise was gorgeous. Bed was super comfortable. Colonial beach is my new favorite little vacation town. Very friendly people. Our host was so responsive and welcoming. Much appreciate his quick response to questions. There were a lot of steps to climb to get to the condo but that’s probably a good thing for a Bach front property. We would definitely love to stay here again. '
