'Unique rustic property with a big beautiful yard in the midst of a waterfall that lays to the south side of the property. Lots of charm inside and out with a great front covered porch to sit on and a relaxing back porch too. We really enjoyed that. 'Charming & well equipped home in Eagle River. It was just my husband and I but this would be great for a family or extended family. As stated in the description, the stairs to the second floor are steep but manageable. Easy to access all of the great outdoors the Keweenaw has to offer. Coffee on the porch, brilliant sunsets at the public beach down the hill and star gazing when the sky was clear made for a wonderful getaway. '

'This is one of the best rental houses I and my friends have stayed in. Yes it’s an older house and has been maintained. Had lots of amenities and kitchen utensils and towels and laundry detergent etc etc. Beach is just across the street. Smaller restaurants within two blocks. Host is very quick in response to any questions. 10/10 rating!! '

'Wonderful house with a long history. Everything was well cared for, you can tell a lot of work went into making this home a perfect location. The central air was in excellent working order. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed. The stairs to the bedrooms were a bit steep but not overly so. Wifi worked well. The location is perfect as a central location for beaches, hiking, ORV, and runs into Calumet or Houghton for supplies. Communication was great!'

'Stayed 2 nights. Loved the cabin, comfy beds & good lighting next to beds. Beautiful 1 & a half baths. Great appliances in the kitchen. FYI: The closest town is Gay, a mile away & all that's there is a bar that does serve food, but we were so happy the host had left a frozen pizza for us, plus bkfst items as we drove several hrs to get there & really didn't want to get in the car again! The next day we went to Copper Harbor, which is 38 miles north. Mt Bohemia/Nordic Spa/Lac LaBelle is about 23...

'The cabins are updated and very well kept. It was clean and stocked with everything you need plus more. Very comfortable and there are many things to do there. Amazing property and views. Bob was a pleasure to get to know and very helpful.'
