'We really enjoy the old schoolhouse turned into apartments. The price is very reasonable. We love how they tried to keep as much of the original structure as possible, the old doors and flooring. It is a clean and well kept property. The owners are very accommodating and have a quick response time, when I asked about staying another night. '

'We loved staying at the property in Calumet. It was very clean and spacious. There were many small touches that made it comfortable. We did some cooking and found the kitchen well stocked. It has been nicely remodeled to keep the 'old time' feel while still remaining usable and efficient. It worked well as a home base to explore the Keweenaw. It is walkable to the bars and restaurants. 'The outside of the building doesn’t represent how the place is on the inside. It’s a nice clean and well taken care of apartment that was comfy to stay in. Relatively quiet just noisy cars driving by at night. Very nice place to stay and a not very far from Houghton so it’s definitely a place I’d revisit.'

'The apartment was very cute and stylish. A great repurpose of an industrial building. We enjoyed being in downtown Houghton and being able to walk to restaurants, stores and bars. Our car was able to be parked in a parking lot across the street from the apartment so it was easy to get out of town to explore the Keweenaw. 'The property is very clean and well stocked with anything needed. The location was convenient for visiting my daughter at MTU and for accessing the beauty of Copper country. It was a short drive to Canyon Falls, MTU, and Hancock. We truly enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be to add a curtain to the back door, and that is so minor. I most definitely recommend this property to folks visiting the area.'
