'Really happy with my stay. Half the price (£65 for Walnut Room) and twice as good as city centre chains. There was a bit of traffic noise (building is close to a busy road) but the room had character (v high ceilings), nice furniture, comfortable bed, was clean and in a good location. Easy to find fault in places but as someone who regularly works away for work, this is definitely a 'come back to'.'

'It was a very comfortable sleep. A large big room with plenty of storage. The only drawback is that I would have appreciated a mini kettle in my room. I was on the third floor so had a little bit of a trek to the kitchen.'

'The place was quiet apart from a little bit of noise from the neighbours in the next house. Overall ok thanks to the other guest Michael who welcomed me and also showed me that there was a kitchen (microwave oven), which I could use. A bit more clean carpets some places and a few not so expensive improvements would give this place an extra star *'

'Verblijf van vier nachten hebben we er twee gehad met veel geluidsoverlast in het hotel zelf. Hebben niets het idee dat hier goed op gereageerd werd door personeel. ( idee is dat het Engelse waren) Bij vertrek werd ons niet gevraagd of we een aangenaam verblijf hadden gehad. Vonden we toch wat minder gastvrij. '

"De ligging van het hotel is perfect. Dicht in de buurt van het openbaar vervoer en de stad. Ook ge niet eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Hotel is wel een beetje gedateerd met oud interieur in de kamers, tapijt en bedden met minder goede matrassen. Kamers zijn wel schoon. "
