'Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.'

Laura and Ron were delightful hosts and their wealth of knowledge and passion for local history made the stay that much better, Expect a filling home cooked breakfast every morning by Laura (while in period costume).
