'This would be a great place for a small group retreat. Beautiful grounds! The Cedar Lodge was a quiet and restful place to have coffee. The self-serve breakfast was a nice touch. Unfortunately we were there on a Monday when the restaurant was not open. Pretty place at a good price.'

'The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The sofa bed did not have a very good mattress, so consider that when planning for extra people. Also, trying to get in the door was an experience. It took several attempts to figure out how that worked as well as how to lock it. There should be better instructions, and a reminder to hold the door tightly closed when locking or it won't engage. Booking through Expedia was ok, but was a bit misleading, as we thought we were getting a river view, however,...

'Charged me an Expedia and then charged me again on arrival, then tried arguing with me about it. Room was dirty, dust everywhere, debris on beds and carpet.'
