However it provided a good value, ideal space for our family to meet up over half term week.The house is in a beautiful rural situation. We enjoyed walks in the surrounding countryside and a trip on the local restored canal.Ken was a most helpful and accessible host even advising us how to lower the Aga temperature in a heat wave! 'The property is lovely, like a good hotel suite. It was spotlessly clean and there were lots of clean towels. Lots of plug sockets and a good size mirror. The downside was the shower was lukewarm and we couldn't increase the temperature. Also, the communication wasn't great. There was no info about where to collect or leave the key. Nor was there any acknowledgement when we sent details of our arrival time. A coffee machine would have been nice. '
