Lovely location; great stay.
We were extremely happy with our stay at the Tin Shed. The beautiful Bay of Fires was literally outside the front door. We enjoyed the nice touches of heated floors in the ensuite and towel warmers. Kathy recommended places of interest, walking tracks, beaches and restaurants. We loved the peace and quiet there.

Kathy thought of everything that would make our stay as comfortable as possible. We're travelling with a 2-yo and she even prepared a box of toys for him. The facilities were excellent and the service is 5 star. Kathy and her husband are very friendly and kind and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality.

Lovely Ton Shed
Kathy has made the Tin Shed into a really lovely spot to stay. She has thought of just about everything a traveller could need for a short stay and including the BBQ facility on the deck outside was a great idea! Great room, very comfy bed and a lovely bathroom with heated towel rail - a big plus for Queenslanders who feel the cold! I would definitely recommend The Tin Shed as a place to stay in this beautiful part of Tasmania.

The hosts are very welcoming and the Tin Shed is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The space is located to one side of the garage area so is not stand alone. We would recommend it as a short stay while remembering that there are limited cooking options. The somewhat unusual cooking facilites are a bit clunky to work with but if you wanted to bbq or microwave only it would be fine just no way of keeping anything warm. That being said the cooking facilites are advertised and the inside space is really comfy with lovely hosts.

This is a fabulous place to stay and the hosts were superb. Good communication and ohh so friendly and helpful. The local tips of where to eat and sights to see were absolutely spot on. Love this place, snug, cosy, private, clean & well located.

Lovely stay
The property is as described and very comfortable and well equipped. The hosts were lovely. Binalong Bay is very pretty with beautiful beaches and long scenic walks. We also visited the nearby Pyengana Dairy and St Colomba and Halls Falls, which, after overnight rain, were in full flow. Local restaurant (Meresta) was excellent. Overall, a terrific stay!

Kathy was a wonderful host who made us feel at home. Staying in the Tin Shed was a fantastic base for walks along the Bay of Fires and swimming at beautiful Binalong Beach. Great little place to stay
Property is very clean with new fixtures. Dick and Kathy are incredibly friendly, which is great as the accommodation is in close proximity to their house. No view from the room but this encourages you to get out and explore the area - overall a great experience!

Cosy comfortable quiet “tin shed”. Kathy and Dick went above and beyond to make our stay perfect from sourcing a coffee plunger and lighting the outdoor fireplace each night to local tips. Walking distance to the water.

We loved staying here. It was certainly the most upmarket "tin shed" we have ever stayed in. Cosy and beautifully fitted out. Kathy was the most gracious of hosts attending to every small thing. Outstanding was the pre-arrival communication. We truly appreciated this. The location s superb allowing us plenty of walks and the opportunity to explore the coast line. This place and the way it is run is a true credit to the owners.

Lovely and warm bedsit close enough to explore Bay of Fires area. Owners were helpful and also respected privacy. No kitchen as advertised but enough appliances/crockery to make meals and the barbie would be great for summer months.

Beautifully maintained & spotlessly clean ‘Tin Shed’! Really couldn’t fault our stay. Kathy & Dick were fantastic hosts and would certainly recommend a 4x4 tour with Dick. Would have no hesitation in staying again or recommending.

Lovely room, well equipped
My partner and I spent 2 nights in the tin shed and were pleasantly surprised with how nice the room was. WiFi reception struggled, which was only an issue because of bad weather, otherwise we wouldnt have even needed to use it.

Simply amazing
Our short but wonderful stay in The Tin Shed was nothing short of wonderful, such a relaxed and comfortable place to stay. Everything is thought of and it is like a little home away from home. Kathy and Dick are lovely and go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and are also very informative of the Binalong Bay and surrounding areas. I would also highly recommend a 4x4 tour with Dick, amazing!! Will definitely be going back for a longer stay next time. Thankyou Kathy and Dick
