'Lovely property but seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. Understand it’s a very old building and so dust and spiders will be more prevalent but would have expected cobwebs and spiders to have been cleaned away for the arrival of paying guests, and apart from the number of them, some had clearly been there for some time. There were also two wasp nests in the thatch, meaning wasps came into the upstairs bedroom frequently, which wasn’t so great. Apart from those things, it was a nice...

'Enormous house on nice location and lovely view. The house is well equipped and has a large garden but could use some TLC. Wales and the Cotswolds are an hour away, Bath and Stonehenge some two hours.'

'We stayed at Little Rushbrook cottages while visiting an event at the NEC, which was about 14 miles away. Checking in was very easy, parking was right outside the front door and the cottage was clean warm and comfortable, situated in a peaceful rural setting but still close to the city. We particularly liked the breakfast basket provided. it would have been nice to meet the owners and explore the area a bit more, but maybe next time. '

'A lovely house and just the right size for us within a great part of Sutton and close to Sutton Park that I remembered from my childhood. There wasn't any communication apart from knowing the code to collect the key, the box of which was open and I was unable to lock it on departure. Took time to find the details of setting the heating and WIFI. Nothing on bins eg recycling which we gathered and put into one. Overall, a lovely warm home and we hope we took as much care of it as it was due....
