'Prachtige locatie, mooi historisch pand met geweldige Engelse tuin en park. Met de bus op 7 min. van York, recht aan de bushalte. Al een tweede verblijf in dit hotel, en is allen maar verbeterd. Keuken ronduit fantastisch, prachtig dineren bij kaarslicht waar je volledig in de watten wordt gelegd. Wel iets van deftige kledij te voorzien. Gezellige bibliotheek voor een 'afternoon tea', voor je in de spa of de gym duikt. Massages ook goed in prijs/kwaliteit. De vriendelijkheid waarmee elke vraag...

'Fantastic couple of nights here, check in was easy, parking either straight out front or on the street around the corner. Bus stop just outside with an easy trip into town so we could have a drink with dinner and not worry about driving. Can touch on to the bus with a credit card. Breakfast was freshly prepared to order by the hosts and was excellent quality! Would stay again.'

'Very friendly staff. Rooms nice, beds really comfortable. Lovely breakfast area and lounge. Two pubs across the road as a change for evening meals as only booked B&B. We were there on a very hot week but had aircon in rooms. Large free car park which is a bonus round York. Bus services along the main road are frequent. No4 from outside Cross Keys pub takes you into centre which is only 1 and half miles. Would definitely stay again if visiting York. '

The farm is in the middle of nowhere but within short distances to villages with pubs or the park and ride to take you to York.
