'The accommodation was clean and spacious. The decor is quite dark, but probably because of the dark beams. The welcome in the pub wasn’t great, we weren’t acknowledged whilst standing with our bags in the pub. I understand the stafff are busy, but a simple’hello, we’ll be with you in a minute’ would be nice. We didn’t see any members of staff as the breakfast is a completely self service buffet. 'We booked the Dinney B&B due to its close proximity to the Astbury Golf Resort, where we were attending a wedding reception. We visited the Dinney early, to work out the logistics and chanced to meet Keith the owner. He allowed us to drop our bags in our room, gave us our keys and assured us that we could leave our car at the Astbury, walk back and he'd sort a lift back the next day - now that's excellent customer service! The room was comfortable and clean, with a good ensuite shower room....

'The Corners Inn is a hidden gem. Fantastic old bar and dining room with real character. High quality breakfast - you can tell real care has been taken sourcing ingredients. Bedrooms are in a new annex, so spacious and quiet. Would love to find an excuse to go back!'

'Main issues were a) the "bistro" and bar area looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Most of the dining tables had been replaced by a pool table and dart boards. Broken or unused furniture was piled up at the side of the room. After taking one look, we decided that eating here was not an option. Similar unwanted furniture etc was piled up on the stairs to the second floor. All in all, there is no way this could be described as a tidy place b) our room was immemdiately above the bar....

'The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near.'

'This is a converted coaching inn at the junction of a few roads. Easy parking, good breakfasts and dinners, plenty of character. A bit of a downside if you’re a light sleeper with the traffic and kitchen exhaust system. Otherwise, easy place to stay.'

'This place is a fabulous bargain. Amazing price with a really good breakfast included. There’s no skimping in care, the room was faultlessly clean, and was spruced up each day of our stay. This particular room was a little small but with a big, comfy bed. Perfect for a base to sleep when going out during the day. Staff on site where hard working and helpful. We definitely will be back'

'The Room stank of stale tobacco, when I checked in I was told numerous times that the rooms were strictly non smoking, it didn't help all the rooms look onto the smoking area of the hotel but the smell in the room was not just from outside. The Pillows were Paper thin and at 6:30am I was awoken by staff talking extremely loud outside the window. (The window had to stay open due to be it being a very warm night)'

'Our room, Croft was a small suite. Very clean with ensuite and small fridge. Ideal. Breakfast was very tasty. We did not have an evening meal there.'
