➤ Do I need a 4-wheel drive vehicle? October through
April, yes — 4WD or AWD is a must for mountain terrain. Roads can be icy and steep.
➤ Is the property pet-friendly?
Yes! We're a dog-friendly lodge. Bowls and waste bags are provided. Our own family has four-legged members too.
➤ Is the Wi-Fi reliable for working remotely?
We have Starlink Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace. The connection is strong, though occasional mountain weather (heavy wind or snow) can cause brief interruptions — it's rare but it's the mountains.
➤ What's the parking situation?
Free private parking on a large driveway fits up to 3 vehicles. Gear can be stored in the Gear Hut near the garage.

We're Mountain Way Properties — a family who fell in love with the Rocky Mountains and never looked back. We ski, hike, mountain bike, and spend as much time outside as possible, and we built this lodge experience to share that with you. We're hands-on, responsive (usually within the hour), and genuinely excited to help you plan the perfect mountain getaway.

Set within a quiet mountain community, this home sits on wooded acreage offering exceptional privacy and natural beauty, with wildlife like moose, elk, fox, rabbits, and deer often nearby.
Backing directly onto the National Forest, you can step into hundreds of acres of forest right from the backyard. Located just minutes from downtown Nederland, you’ll be close to shops, restaurants, breweries, and local attractions like the Carousel of Happiness, with Boulder and Denver just a scenic drive away. Hosts are happy to provide personalized recommendations for your stay.
Getting Around:
Highway 119 is less than 1.7 miles from this house, which is your main way to get to most places in the mountains and into the flatlands.

» Mountain terrain can be rocky, icy, and slippery.
» Starlink WIFI: This house is in the mountains. Although rare, Wi-Fi can be affected by the wind and snow. Intermittent service at times is beyond our control as these mountains have a mind of their own!

We live locally and are available for anything that you would need us to be available for. Otherwise, the entire space is yours to enjoy.
