'Very friendly host who made communications easy. We left our iPad behind and they called us right away. The apartment was large, beds were comfortable, and the bathroom renovation was beautiful with a great shower. It is about a block from the C&O trail plus free parking on the property.'

'Location is unbeatable- but bring ear plugs for the train whistling through the night.'

'The posting warns about low ceilings and insects. I'm 6'1" and did fine, just watched my head on the step. I did see one spider, but otherwise very clean and not buggy. My only other criticism is there is one small trash can in the kitchen area and not the bathroom. Very cute and very comfortable, especially for just one night. My wife complimented it multiple times during our short time there.'

'We were given some devastating news in mid October that our dog not only had cancer but that it had metastasized and said goodbye to her on 11/7. If we thought we were heartbroken when we got that news, it wasn’t even close to the pain we’ve felt and continue to feel since our goodbye. This was a last minute trip to try to keep our minds pre-occupied from our profound sadness. I referred to it as our distraction trip but it wasn’t so much since we visited the area several times in the past with...

'The only regret we have is not staying more than one night! Kay and Joe were great hosts. Kay provided a lot of recommendations for wineries, restaurants, and things to do. The location is central to a number of wineries and incredible views. The Love Nest is well stocked with all the essentials and several bonuses, too! Communication was clear leading up to the reservation, during our stay, and there are guides throughout the Love Nest for clear instructions to make the most of the stay. We got...

'We had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and welcoming cabin getaway!'

'Es war ein Highlight unserer Road Tour, wir wären auch länger geblieben falls es nicht ausgebucht gewesen wäre. Neben allem anderen hat's dem Junior (13) das Schlafen direkt unterm Dach angetan, mir die tolle Veranda.'

'Clean, great communication, amazing location. Don’t hesitate book it! I loved every aspect of this cozy place. '

'Clean and welcoming with adequate parking for all guests.'

'The apt needs a go over, many small things:Walls need painting and are dingy Kitchen cupboards dirty insideLockbox is finicky to open and close, need to pull the door tight to get the lock to work. Toilet paper holder brokenShower pressure very weak2nd bedroom cluttered with shelving and too many lites on at oncePatio nice but cluttered with unusable things and pots with dead or non existent plantsSorry, not really happy with it.'

'We were staying at the schoolhouse to go hiking and ride bikes. They house has been tastefully decorated. I enjoyed the quite community and the listening to the tree frogs at night. Front Royal has a few things you can enjoy such as the movie theatre, bakery and state park. I would highly recommend this propery.'
