It's located so close to Ashville, Black mountain, and other smaller towns to walk, eat, and enjoy. There are 2 unexpected bonuses here...George is a super wonderful person, just a great guy! And the bear sightings! We enjoyed our stay tremendously! We will be back!'

'The unit is very cute and nicely decorated. Has a very nice kitchen area, which we did not use during our one night stay. The location is excellent - one block walk to the heart of downtown Boone. We were able to easily walk to the Performing Arts center on campus for a concert. A/C is a window unit (not central air), but it felt cool enough for me. Parking is off-street, but the alley back to the duplex is tight. A large SUV would be tough to maneuver and park, IMO. There are stairs only to the...
