'Close to Wilkesboro and about 40min from historic Boone and blowing rock. One outlet to charge your phone and electronics which is nice for an unplug getaway. It's a quiet location without traffic noise. Very pleased with the cleanliness. I was a little nervous about the porta potty situation but it was SUPER clean and I was thrilled about that. Everything was great, I would stay here again. '

'It was a mostly clean room. My only complaint was the floors were not swept or cleaned, but I did not complain and ask them to come sweep, which I am sure they would have. I killed at least 10 flies, but the cleaners usually leave the door open while cleaning them. '

'This cabin was the perfect size and location for a small group! We got in very late in the night (2 am) and the GPS location tried to take us about 1/4 mile further than the actual cabins.. but luckily they have a large sign at the road that pointed us in the right direction! We liked it here!'

'The cabin was as described and immaculately clean. It was far enough off the road that there was no road noise. The community fire pit was a great place for our group to gather and the charcoal grills and picnic tables were a nice addition. The property owner was very responsive to questions and answered them promptly. I would like to stay here again.'

'My sister and I were in Hickory for a week to visit my son and his family. This place was perfect for us. It was clean, comfortable and so quiet. The host was accommodating and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.'

'Erg gehorig hotel en verouderd hotel beetje vies wel rustig hotel ligt gunstig ten opzichte van winkels. Werd snel geholpen in de lobby, ontbijt was voldoende. Bedden waren oke maar erg verouderd. Zwembad geen gebruik van gemaakt was niet erg groot. Badkamer was zoals je zou kunnen verwachten, was voldoende. Er was voldoende parkeerplaats voor de auto'

'Over the bridge and through the woods to the magical cabin you go! The glass ceiling and big windows made it a place of calm and rejuvenation. While laying in bed I looked at stars and watched fireflies dance in the trees! So clean and peaceful! Definitely a place a will visit again'

'This place is pure serenity! Very comfortable glamping just keep in mind nice glamping but not a air conditioning hotel but this is life changing for me, had lost my father past year came here last week after staying few nights I decided this is where I would like to be, Went out bought me a big RV and now looking for a place around here to park it! Time to live for me! Thank You for such a wonderful experience for my husband and myself'

Pleasant MCM motel

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
