Carpathian Cabin-Blowing Rock / Boone- Long Range View - gebladerte, wandelen, ontspannen

De Carpathian Cabin wordt uw favoriete ontspanningsplaats in de Blue Ridge Mountains. Het grote uitzicht op de Parkway kan worden genoten vanaf het grote dek, evenals vanuit de keuken, woonkamer en grote slaapkamer.
Je voelt je als thuis vanwege de gezellige sfeer en de volledig uitgeruste keuken en wordt gestimuleerd door de overvloed aan natuurlijk licht in de woon- en eetkamer.
De hut ligt in een prachtige bergachtige omgeving, weg van drukke straten en andere vakantieverblijven. De weinige buren zijn erg vriendelijk. Dit is een perfecte plek voor stellen of gezinnen met kinderen om buiten te zijn. Kom slingeren op de schommel met boombanden, ontspan in de zijtuin of op het dek, kijk naar vogels of maak een wandeling in de buurt. Kom herfst of winter, lente of zomer. Elk seizoen heeft hier zijn schoonheid en je zou gewoon een andere favoriet kunnen kiezen terwijl je hier bent.
Als u de omgeving wilt verkennen, ligt Blue Ridge Parkway op ongeveer 1,5 km afstand en Blowing Rock en Boone liggen op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden. Ze bieden restaurants, parken, speeltuinen en winkels om een aantal bezienswaardigheden op te sommen.
Tweetsie Railroad en Mystery Hill zijn grote attracties voor kinderen en op minder dan 10 minuten rijden van de cabine.
Appalachian Ski Mountain ligt op ongeveer 15 minuten afstand en Tubing / Kanovaren op New River ligt op 30 minuten rijden.
Wandelen kan worden gedaan in het gebied Parken, off van Blue Ridge Pkway, evenals rond de cabine.
Grandfather Mountain ligt op ongeveer 30 minuten rijden.

quiet retreat place

Family went for a ski trip during MLK weekend. The place was nice, secluded and view was great. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short as there is a forecast of more snow and i'm not sure if we will get stuck if we wait for the next day. The hosts were great, very helpful and easy to reach when I needed some assistance.

Beautiful stay at the cabin

It was a very cozy cabin, but the route to it is quite washed out because of the bad weather recently! The hosts were helpful and the instructions were accurate. Highly recommend an all wheel drive SUV for the travel!

House on the side of a hill 🏔️

It’s hard to summarize the stay that we had. I will start with the negatives and then I will go to the positive; one of the negatives is that when we arrived there was no water and no water pressure after further investigation…there was a busted pipe that we had communicated with the owner about, but there were no repairs that were done during our stay, so we had no water and low water pressure. Also, the driveway to the house caused damage to our vehicle due to overgrown bushes and washed out rock. Onto the positives. We came up there for Tweetsie Railroad and we were at a very good location for the Railroad. also a good distance for food and other activities. And the house was toddler friendly, which is always a great plus. Will definitely stay here again. Hopefully this time with water. Communication with the owner was very nice and they gave a moderate discount for lack of water.

August stay

Overall the cabin was clean, comfortable, was well stocked with anything needed, and nice view. Getting a quick response on having a charcoal grill, not gas, allowed purchase of coal and starter before coming into the cabin. We did have some difficulty with water pressure, which made it difficult to flush the toilet at times. We also would have benefited from having instructions on using the TV with three different remotes. Instructions sent on getting into the cabin by road was also important. We managed the driveway ok, but there was quite a wash out of rocks between the cabin and the neighbors. Large cinderblocks in the road were pretty obtrusive to driving that part and turning around the curve. It was very peaceful and quiet. loved seeing the hummingbirds also.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is nicer than the photos appear. It has a lovely view with lots of birds. Saw July 4th fireworks from the back porch. Close to the Parkway, Boone, and Blowing Rock.

Great weekend getaway

Lovely little cabin for my family of three. Close to Boone/blowing rock and all of its offerings, but cozy enough to enjoy evenings at home grilling and playing board games and slow mornings watching the cows in the meadow below the deck.

Great location!

Our family had a lovely time here this summer! We were in town to bring our kids to Tweetsie and visit Boone and Blowing Rock, and this was the perfect location to do that. It’s also more spacious than it looks in the pictures. We loved how the kids room was set up with the bunk beds!

Even though the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy outdoors, we had a great time in this small cabin which was perfect for a family of 3. Beautifully decorated with all the facilities needed for a vacation. Thanks for letting us stay.

Beautiful cabin in the mountains

Great little cabin in the mountains. I gave a 5 star rating for accuracy of listing, but only because I feel like the owner has understated how great this place is. My kids loved the kids room and board games. The elevation on the mountain was high enough that it snowed the whole weekend even though there was only a slight chance in town. The views were beautiful and bird watching on the porch was nice. They provide bird food. Definitely read the specific instructions to find the cabin. In the dark it was hard to see the first rd to the right by the fence. gps takes you up the hill to a different one. Make sure you have an AWD vehicle for winter months. Temps dropped fast and it can get slippery Be careful if you are going down stair to the basement at all. They are carpeted stairs and a few steps need to be tacked down. My husband slipped a few times but caught himself before falling. I was not as lucky and fell on my butt when going down to do laundry. Overall this was a quaint little cabin. The kitchen was great for cooking and had everything you would need make awesome meals in. The local attractions were very close by. All under 30 mins. We will definitely be back and stay here again

Peaceful Getaway

This home was very cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. Very clean and conveniently located close to BRP. The view was nice and the deck had comfortable chairs to sit. The owners left birdseed for us to fill bird feeders and we absolutely loved seeing all the birds that came. I would definitely recommend this property.
