The hike up to the cabin from the parking lot was a challenge but the owners have a well maintained and fully lite gravel pathway that gave my legs a workout every day💗 I highly recommend this fabulous cabin -it was a wonderful weekend! 'Arrived at 5:30 PM on a Thursday evening to an extremely well maintained and clean cabin with everything needed. The setting of the cabin is picturesque. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck that is just feet away from the Elk Creek. We saw turkey glide down from their evening roost and deer coming down from the woods for a drink. 'This is my 5th time staying in the area in a rented home and this is definitely a favorite. The view is gorgeous, the furnishings were better than most rentals and we were very happy with our time. Also - often the drive to mountain homes can be treacherous and scary for a Florida gal - but the drive was easy. My son was graduating from App State so we had several trips to Boone and it was a quick and easy trip. I highly recommend this property.'

'We loved this property! There was a lot of room including 3 full bathrooms and two balconies. The downstairs balcony was screened in. There are a lot of stairs so if you have anyone who doesn’t do well with stairs this may not be the property for you. There was a cute fire pit, but we didn’t get to use it due to rain. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. 'Had a fantastic stay in this cozy cabin! Pet friendly and great yard for potty breaks. Bed was comfortable and cabin was updated and clean. The only negative was the noise from upstairs cabin as other renters have mentioned. Other than that it was a perfect stay!'
