Neighborhood:
Rich in architectural and historical heritage between the river and the hillsides, Lormont was first a defensive site, a port and then a place of residence and vacation. Lormont is one of the 28 communes of the Bordeaux metropolis, a smiling village clinging to the hillside.
The last bell tower seen and saluted with a cannon shot by sailors leaving for distant lands, the town with the appearance of a village is nestled around its church, bordered along the Garonne by its jetties and its guinguettes, and topped by its castle of the Black Prince.

On Thursdays and Fridays there is a market around the Place de L'Église 50 meters from the house.
