It is accurate to the listing. Small, quaint, ideal location, very comfortable bed, had what I needed and the staff was very responsive to anything brought up to them and they always followed up.

Our room was clean. Bed was comfortable. The place was quiet. I was nervous about a shared bathroom but it was never a problem.

The building is over 100 year old and the stairways are falling a part not even level and the most terrible part is there is no sound proof and next to I 90 interstate hiwsy and all night so noisy that it us impossible to sleep without sleeping pills I will never go back

The room was small but ok for what I wanted for the price. The shared bathroom was the issue it had multiple tiles in the floor missing which I did not notice until stepping on a sharp end. Also the room did offer any isolation from road noise from the highways.

It was a convenient location with a decent room, however there should be a more detailed description for the overall building since it is more of a hostel environment than apartments. Also I think I should be able to have the tv and the fan on without the entire electrical circuit blowing, that’s all.

Unfortunately, I cannot give a glowing review. What I found unacceptable was that the door in my room could not be locked from the inside. Although they moved me to a different room that same night, I believe that the uncomfortable situation was both avoidable and unnecessary, since feeling safe and secure is a basic need.

You definitely get what you pay for with this place. The location is the obvious selling point with its proximity to back bay, downtown, the commons, and even beacon hill as it’s a quick walk to all. However, the whole place felt extremely dirty and run down which left me never really feeling clean my whole 4 day stay. The sheets felt dirty from the get go and the bathroom is in much need of a deep clean and makeover. I do appreciate the kitchen available for use and the appliances in the room but it’s hard to look past how dirty it felt. The place can also be very loud as the walls felt paper thin and I could hear what was going on is other rooms and hallways.

This is a convenient property, close to the T and the Common. You will need to be able to walk up some narrow stairs, and adjust to sharing a common bathroom. I met the owner while he was shoveling snow after the nor'easter, and he could not have been nicer! Great value for the money, fairly quiet and I would stay again.

What you will like is the location because it’s close to everything including the entrance of highway 93. If you like quiet, be avoided here.Please be aware that the bed is not queen size bed and legs of the bed are outfitted the mattress that you will be tripped without attention. All these are standable for what you pay for what you get. What you can’t acceptable is the bathroom, tiny and poor. The bathtub faucet has no mark that you don’t know which side to turn for hot water so you will have to stand in cold for quite while until you figure out. Beyond there’s no floor mat equipped you will have to stand in the water for charging. If you are a lady you’d better bring your own mirror because its mirror on the bathroom wall could nearly see yourself. All and all I was impressed by the Boston travel .

I would rate my stay at this hotel excellent, and I am not just saying that. The check in / check out process is done remotely. When I first arrived to the location and no one was there I was worried. I received a text on how to check in and got along fine. The area is within a mile of all the main attractions of Boston but far enough away. The room was simple. The main shopping area of Boston was less than a mile away. This was likely the most affordable place to stay. If nothing were to change about this hotel, I would recommend staying here. Just be prepared for a remote communication delay, if you understand this you will be fine. No pool or gym included in the hotel, but nearby those things are available to the area.

The stairs were crooked, and there were a lot of them. I think the bed was memory foam, but it was soft memory foam, so if you sat on the bed before going to sleep you spent the rest of the night tilting toward the dip. I couldn't figure out the heater/air conditioner really, so this might've been user error, but when I ran the A/C it cooled whatever it was directly hitting but heated up the rest of the room. The area you're supposed to put the trash was too difficult to open, I'm not sure if there was some trick to it, but I couldn't manage it so I just held onto trash until I passed a public trash can. The staff was very good at responding to texts. Location-wise, it's in a pretty good area- it's a short walk to multiple train stations, a small playground, good food & the post office.
