'The hotel itself was a nice experience. However, I was off put by lack of parking. It’s located on a busy street, the only attached garages are meant for residents in the apartments, meaning you have to valet. Not ideal for everyone. Also charging $200 for incidentals up front seemed odd. I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels and have always simply needed to have a card on file to be charged in case of. Not charged upfront. It’s not ideal being out an extra $200 while traveling but okay.'

'Everyone was incredible friendly and helpful from the time we checked in, guidance in local eating recommendations, greeted when we returned in the evenings, and even helping me MacGyver a tube to protect concert posters for the flight home. (Special shout out to Christina!) The hotel is only about 15 minute walking distance from the Dickies venue and felt to be very safe area. 'Nice place, we enjoyed the hotel and room…..but we arrived during FIFA (not the reason for our visit), which I guess gave all businesses in the area a “license to steal”, so parking fees in and around the hotel were outrageous. We have never stayed in a hotel downtown, I suspect parking is a luxury at most downtown places, so we just sucked it up and paid the $40/day valet parking price, as opposed to their normal $20/day, which is more reasonable.'

'The front desk people were wonderful! Hyllary (check_in) went above and beyond. Great advice and even arranged transportation for me the next morning. Maquita (morning clerk) was so friendly and helpful. And Vanessa, (Assistant General Manager) was fantastic. There were others, also helpful and friendly while eating breakfast. Only negative....bed was worn out. Lumpy and very uncomfortable no matter which way I turned.'
