'Clean and pretty large room, and the price is expensive but very reasonable for summer season in St. Helena, where most places are in the $600-800 range, and this one almost half. Liked that it wasn’t “corporate”. The grounds are kept pretty nice. Also liked that it was pet friendly… easy a nice places to walk your pup around the hotel too. Peaceful spot overall and literally next to some of the world’s best restaurants and vineyards.'

'Cute vintage motel. Rooms are very small but efficient. Adult only pool was nice. Could have used some more active poolside service. Hotel had a large group of 5th graders staying while we were there and they were a bit wild with limited chaperones and hotel staff did not intervene. This made it difficult to sit outside for dinner. Local restaurants were fabulous and the coffee shop in town was great!'

'Chris and Brent were amazing hosts. The menu and libations for weekend breakfasts and wine/cheese hours were delicious and on par with a fine dining restaurant. Beautiful room, bed and bath were very comfortable.'

'Beautiful tree-filled property, adjacent to a vineyard. Good location for sightseeing or wine tasting nearby and nice amenities, including a bottle of wine in our room at check in, and bottled water each day. Free coffee and pastries for breakfast. Coffee was great but pastries, although fresh and delicious, were a bit small. We didn’t want to take more, to save some for the other guests. Outside stairs to get to our room were a bit crooked, but there were handrails, so we were okay. These...

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Property is beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and clean. Breakfast was delicious. We had a traditional Japanese breakfast the first morning, and an American breakfast the second. We loved the coffee and fresh juices too. Social hour with wine and small bites was also so nice. Soaking tub in the room was another nice touch. The manager, Craig, is also so nice and hospitable (and let us feed the koi fishes).'

'The host was really nice, kudos on him!! The pools are awesome, really enjoy the experience. The only suboptimal point was the AC was not so quiet. Also the hotel was not like 4-star but maybe 3-star to me.'
