'The staff was nice and available as advertised but the entire place does not have nearly enough good qualities to make up for the fact that the rooms are disgusting. It seemed fine enough on the surface until we checked the floors and mattress. The floors weren't even swept and the mattress itself looked like it was borrowed from a dumpster behind a brothel- stained and smelly. There were also clusters of black dots in all corners of the mattress just under the sheets which looked like bed bugs...

'booked a room for 2 days for $170 dollars... fkund out my girl had been cheating on me and she calls the front desk to try and get.me kicke out of my room after doing nothing wrong. He ended up kicking us both out and calling the cops after apologizing for her behavior/phone call to him... mknd you ive done nothing wrong didnt argue with her or anything. He had no compassion, empathy or care for a human being. also was only there for 3 hours the first day and would not refubd me fof the next day...

'I witnessed a lot, and I stay here frequently when I travel to the Chicago area. People on the top floor are smoking with the windows open. CRACKHEADS walking in and out of the side doors. Lots of men standing around the side entrance doors smoking weed (I respect them doing it outside more than their rooms but move away from the entrance door at least). The elevator was trashy. 'Breakfast was good! I enjoyed that the proteins changed from day to day! The front desk staff were very kind and informative. I wanted housekeeping to come and take out the trash which they did AND picked up after us and made our bed while we were out for the day. We will definitely stay here again when we visit chicago again, its about a 40minute drive into the downtown area. Worth it if you want to have some quiet away from the big city each night'

'I still cannot find any mention of the policy that charges you for parking! $30 per car to park at a hotel. That is pretty low and I was incensed that they prefer guest that take a taxi from Midway or get blindsided w an extra $30 pull from my wallet! '

'The place is brand new. Great staff and convenient parking. If you're looking for a no frills place to stay that is clean, safe and close to Chicago, this is it. Oak Park is an ok town (kinda stuffy) but there are some good restaurants. I highly recommend the Hemingway Bistro. '
