'The hotel was built around 1923, so the layout is from back in the day and pretty interesting. I got the Bluebonnet Room, which is just that - a single small room. No toilet or shower, which are down the hall a few steps. Maybe the suites have those, I'm not sure. The room did have a sink, but the hot water faucet was not working. 'Older property. Door to the room had large gaps & thus we were concerned about bugs & insects coming in to the room. This also made soundproofing to the outside noise non-existent. The traffic on the busy road was quite loud all night. Front desk attendant was very pleasant. Room was clean. '

'Worst experience ever, this is not worthy of the name Best Western. I had booked 2 rooms for our group, but several insects were crawling in both rooms and a few were dead. Also the smell in the rooms was terrible. We had to cancel the rooms and still drove to a decent overnight stay in Austin. I then emailed the manager several times, but he was not cooperative at all. She kept pretending she didn't understand me via email and kept referring to Expedia. Conclusion: the hotel suits the manager....

'Property was clean but a little outdated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of dining options nearby. would definitely recommend this property. Water was hot and the bed was reasonably comfortable.'
