'The check-in process seemed unusual to us. No one was there when we arrived and we didn't know how to enter the hotel. Fortunately we had a Romanian speaking guide who called the proprietor. Once inside, everything was in fine order. However, the property is not as accessible to the city center as shown in the listing. '

'Stopped off for one night at Casa Albert as we had eaten at Bistro Albert several times and wanted to try the rooms. Food was excellent as before with nice breakfast served in the bistro. Location is very central within easy reach of Piata Sfatului, Black Church, Town Hall etc. Room had tea/coffee facilities and proper bath.'

'The accommodation was very nice, comfortable, clean, modern and pleasant. Two free beers in the fridge, coffee and water free as welome presents. The 1000 steep steps (partly stairs) up from the town required a bit of fitness though.'

'Great staexcept one problem. There is a loud noise every 30 minutes or so that lasts for couple of minutes. I think is a water boiler or something like that somewhere upstairs. Woke up multiple time because of it and had to use earplugs.'

'The place is located off the main road. 5-6 minutes drive on a dirt road so a car is a must. Taxi don't really want to go there. The house is very clean. We didn't like the idea of shared toilet and bath especially the first 2 days when the place was full. We paid for included breakfast but it doesn't exist. You can cook in a shared kitchen'

'The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the other people staying there. The floor upstairs is the ceiling of your room and you hear every step and all the sound echos. The stairs are very loud. Also, there is NO A/C. The room is good and the bathroom is big and clean, but the noise is too much. The host told me to go outside on the terrace to cool off. 'Great location overlooking the old town square. Very helpful staff allowed early arrival and an early weekend breakfast before our tour. Room 3 was a little noisy, less from the street than from the window to the courtyard with other rooms close by. We never had hot water for the shower, it only became warm after several minutes.'
