'What size of the property was a great location for Coronado and San Diego. The location was in a walkable area to restaurants, shopping, hotel, del, and the beach. The property was well maintained and clean. Breakfast was sufficient. The staff was very helpful and easy to interact with. The rooms were clean. It was nice to have a different experience than just a hotel, especially in a small quaint area like Coronado. I would definitely stay there again.'

'Overall I was very pleased with the stay. The room/villa was very clean as was the entire property. The property and amenities were excellent. It was a mixed bag with the staff. The cleaning staff were very friendly and always very helpful, they were 5*. The front desk attendants were friendly and helpful but commonly in the back and not at the counter, especially at night. The valet at the shore house was fantastic, the valet at the main hotel were rude on the two occasions I had to use them...

'What a posh little retreat the Bower is! For a romantic weekend or business stay, this is the perfect spot. The coffee/tea service in the morning was my favorite. I can’t wait to stay again.'

'Well I stayed for a week the hot tub NEVER worked. My room was next to an alley so it was not quite. The pull out couch was broke. So it just hurt the back. Overall id say find something else.'

'Unit was located at a busy street with many loud motorcycles as choppers and cars with extreme loud engines, as seems to be the culture in southern California. My sleep was interrupted many times because of this. At my request to relocate I only got an answer 4 days (and difficult nights) later. In the new unit the TV malfunctioned, the remote could only be used for changing the channel and not volume or even de-activate the TV. You had to do this with a button on the TV. TV itself did not work...

'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'This is my favorite hotel to visit when I stay near the bay front . Walking distance to Seaport village. Great restaurants nearby . The USS museum plus the complimentary breakfast and happy hour are enjoyable !'
