'I've stayed at the Del several times, Beach House, the Views and now Shore House. People above us were partying hard. I'm not one to call in a noisy complaint, but the racket kept us up til 1am, even with 2 calls to the front desk. They comped us 2 days valet. Should have comped us the night IMHO.'

'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'Unit was located at a busy street with many loud motorcycles as choppers and cars with extreme loud engines, as seems to be the culture in southern California. My sleep was interrupted many times because of this. At my request to relocate I only got an answer 4 days (and difficult nights) later. In the new unit the TV malfunctioned, the remote could only be used for changing the channel and not volume or even de-activate the TV. You had to do this with a button on the TV. TV itself did not work...

'Super convenient to PetCo Park. Check-in line was ridiculously long but the hotel had all hands on deck to move customers as quickly as possible into rooms. Appreciate the convenience to Gaslamp district as well. Room was fine; partial view and very comfortable bed. Only issue: the Starbucks on site didn’t keep very long hours, closed in the afternoon. Will return!'

'Perfect location for easily walking to the Ferry Landing, downtown, creating your own trail to exercise with great views in every direction. Both Esmeralda and Ophelia provided top notch, friendly and efficient customer service from check-in to housekeeping. Happy we were able to include our pet for a reasonable fee.'

'Its affordable, its anterior is unique, the staff are very nice and helpful, its a historic building and its near a lot of stuff so you dont have to travel far to go to exciting places. And for the people who aren't exactly fans of night life celebrations going on, the windows are capable of being sealed shut to eliminate 90% of the loud noise. I was staying on the night Mexico won against Ecuador and the celebrations going on outside were loud. The moment I shut the windows, boom, silence.'

'The room was immaculate! It housed all 11 guests comfortably. It truly was beautiful and a great fit for a large party. The amenities in the room are unmatched in comparison to standard hotels. The only thing I wish was different was the parking. It’s very limited but there is free parking outside of the hotel, but the slopes are super steep and not guaranteed. Otherwise an amazing place with friendly attentive staff. I will be booking here again.'
