• A sealed 0.5 km driveway leads to ample level parking beside the building, with space for multiple vehicles including minibuses.

• Ceiling fans are provided in every bedroom, along with reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating.

Our location offers the best of both worlds - a serene residential neighborhood on acreage while still being conveniently close to major amenities. Within approximately 15 km, you'll find four major shopping centers in Capalaba, Victoria Point, Cleveland, and a short 15-20 minute drive will take you to Carindale.



The house sits on 32 acres of bushland. The owners' home is about 150 m away on the same land and faces away from the guest house. Beyond that, it is bush on every side.



For those seeking some leisure activities, Sirromet Winery is just a 10-minute drive away, offering a delightful experience for wine enthusiasts. Sports enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that the Chandler Sports Centre is a mere 15-minute drive, providing a range of recreational opportunities.



If you're in the mood for some thrilling adventures, the Gold Coast theme parks - Movie World, Wet and Wild, White Water World, and Dream World - are approximately 30 minutes away, promising fun-filled days for the whole family. Many sports clubs offer a mini van service for pick-up and drop-off, making transportation to and from the venue a breeze. Additionally, airport transfers are also available through these services. However, we highly recommend traveling by your own transport for the utmost flexibility and convenience during your stay.



As you make your way to our retreat, you'll be welcomed by a sealed 0.5km long driveway. To ensure safety and a smooth drive, water direction humps are placed along the driveway, prompting drivers to reduce their speed.



Parking is never a hassle at our retreat. Ample parking spaces are conveniently located right next to the building, making it easy for guests to access the premises.



We take accessibility seriously and want to ensure everyone can enjoy their stay comfortably. For wheelchair access, drivers can park directly in the building, eliminating the need for ramps, stairs, or any other obstacles. The entire ground floor is designed to be easily accessible, providing a hassle-free experience for all our guests.



Other Things to Note:

At Winston Wallabies Urban Getaway, we prioritize your comfort and convenience. Our building is thoughtfully designed with heavy insulation, focusing on natural air flow, and ceiling fans in all bedrooms to ensure a pleasant stay. While reverse cycle air conditioning (and heating) is available, you'll find that it's rarely necessary due to our excellent ventilation and climate.



There are four bathrooms. On the ground floor, two have flat, step-free showers: one is built to fully compliant accessible standards, and the other has handrails and a shower chair. Two more bathrooms are upstairs.
