'The house was clean, the location was amazing, and it looked exactly as photographed. However, the check-in process and communication were the worst I've ever experienced. Despite paying in full, including a bond and an additional fee for early check-in, I received a message upon landing in Australia that my booking was declined. This was because the name on the booking (my name) and the credit card used for payment didn't match.I managed to resolve this issue, but then faced another problem:...

'Beautifully clean little granny flat, very comfortable and close to shops and coffee. We had a lovely meal from the nearby Kawan Afghan Restaurant which we highly recommend.'

'Very clean and tidy.Communication was lacking. Did not know how to get into room. Did not have code to get keys. Said there was a washing machine and dryer - again poor Communication about where washing machine was and also no dryer available. Ended up needing to go to laundromat which was fine but would have bern good to know prior. Minimal parking but that was clear in the description of the property. '

'Yes there was a small park quite close. There was everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. '

'My mother and I really enjoyed our stay at Hawthorne. The property was very clean with lovely decor and a fantastic sized television. Having the park behind the property was great for our early morning walk and a short stroll to the local shops was also very handy. The only downfall was the side entrance to the property which had uneven paving. That became a little daunting for my elderly mother. Having said that we would definitely stay there again. '
