'We have a wonderful week here. Highly recommended. perfect timing because the sandcastle weekend was on Texada island, with fun activities. The cottage is beautifully situated on the bay and is well taken care of. we have walked, swam, canoeed, fished a lot of wildlife (deer, osprey, otters, seals, etc.) and as icing on the cake (dutch saying :)) we saw orcas in the bay the last evening. 'The location was stunning, very private as promised. BUT, this location is not for the faint of heart. It’s not very clean, the floors hadn’t been vacuumed or swept when we arrived, my husband had to spend 20 minutes with scissors removing all the hair from the vacuum before it could actually turn to pick anything up. He spent another 20 minutes clearing the bathroom sink drain or the water would just sit in the sink. There was mouse poop in every corner, window sill, counter top. It is a...

'The cottage backs up to a noisy highway that kept us awake and the dining table was tall with chairs that were both too high and extremely painful to sit on due yo the seat design.We appreciated the comfortable mattress and living room plus as cooks, we were pleased with the well supplied kitchen.'

'The cottage was very cute with good amenities. Lots of attention to detail. The fire pit was wonderful and the location was awesome. Lots of trails and only 15-20 mins away from everything. In one day we went to Mt Washington and played in the snow, then went to Nymph falls and played in the river then to Saratoga beach and enjoyed sun & sand. '
