'it was definitely aged, but it was clean and cozy! for the price and what i got i have no complaints and will gladly stay again! it in a poorer neibor hood, but it’s still safe i felt. around lots of food options and walgreens is a 5 minute walk away in case you forget anything for your stay(i did haha). room service everyday is appreciated greatly! it also has AC and heat to adjust the temperature to your liking. workers were very kind. thankyou travel in for a truly amazing trip!'

'Location is very good, near subway, a big supermarket and restaurants. Room was all we asked for. Cleaning of the room could’ve been done more frequent- it was done once in the 5 nights we stayed. They came for the 2nd time on the day we were checking out. '

'I stayed at the Travelodge by Wyndham Downtown Chicago for three nights with my partner while visiting the city. I’ll admit I was a little nervous when booking after reading some mixed reviews, but for the price, I decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and got to our room.
It’s an older hotel, but it’s clean, comfortable, and in a great location. If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay downtown without sacrificing comfort, this is an excellent value.'

"This hotel is truly beautiful — Art Deco style, full of character and soul. The lobby is stunning, and the corridors feel like they transport you to a different era, with elegant marble floors… It could easily be a museum. It’s located downtown, and many sights are within walking distance. The subway and bus stops are also nearby. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom could use renovation.
However, it’s a large hotel, and that comes with some downsides. There was a long queue for both check-in and check-out, as not all service desks were staffed. We stayed for four nights, but had to downgrade our room because it still wasn’t ready — even at 5 PM. There was no refund, and as compensation we were offered a free breakfast, which turned out to be just for one day. Very disappointing.
Upon check-out, the bills I received showed additional charges of $352.26 for taxes and parking. However, my credit card was charged a total of €495.88 — significantly more than expected. I sent multiple messages via Expedia, but the hotel never responded. Since I was traveling through the U.S., I didn’t have the time to call and follow up properly. I sincerely hope the hotel will look into this and respond accordingly."
