'I was solo female traveler and I really liked the property. I felt safe and the staff was very nice. I felt welcoming in the bar also and I didn't feel uncomfortable being on my own. Thank you very much for an amazing stay and I am definitely coming back!'

'We had the most wonderful stay here - The room was perfect, and breakfast was somehow even better that perfect! Within our 2 night stay we became regulars at The Forester Arms right next door as well, what a great spot!!! I only wish we could have stayed longer. If I could give the Thatched Cottage 50 out of 5 stars, I would :)'

'Lovely hotel with great helpful staff. Food was excellent quality and view from the terrace int eh evening was amazing. We will be back'

'Had a lovely weekend at the Oak Tree Rooms, our room was very clean and had everything we needed, the bathroom is spacious and the water pressure was excellent. Paulina and Bruno were very accommodating and let drop off my bag before check in and leave it there after check out. The garden was lovely to hang out in after a long day of hiking. Would happily recommend this to anyone - especially if traveling by train as it’s very close to the station.'
