'Check in with Marcy was a breeze, everyone helpful. Room with balcony was great, although mini fridge never got cold. Short walk to beach, great location! Family just moved to the area, will def stay here again when visiting them.'

Old southern charm, but with emphasis on the old— our room was as clean as housekeeping could possibly make it, but the carpet had large stains, shower door can’t stay shut, paint on bathroom ceiling and parts of walls cracked and peeling. Tile missing on bathroom floor. Brilliant location right in historic district because hotel is pretty much the historic anchor (former exclusive millionaires club built at end of 19th century). 'Very nice location on the beach. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. My only complaint was that my room advertised a freezer and a sitting chair which it did not have. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I will return for sure.'
