'Room nothing like the photos. Broken sky light with no blind. Wall paper peeling off. Filthy carpets, stained and very very unpleasant. Checked out after being there for 1/2 hour and just got " sorry". I have stayed in some unpleasant places but this was frankly disgusting . Waste of money, no refund offered'

'Property was as described and as remembered (it was my granny’s old cottage!) . The welcome pack of goodies was a nice surprise. The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated with a cozy homely feel. I especially loved the fluffy white towels provided! I was put in touch with Debbie after I booked and she was great at communicating before,during and after the stay. I booked through Hotels.com but it’s a Sykes cottage and due to this Sykes wouldn’t let me amend any details through their app...
