'Nice place for a family while visiting Liberty University.'

'The old farm house was perfect for our two families. It was right off the highway so it was great for getting to and from Lexington for our kids races. The beds are very comfy and you have everything there to prepare meals. We stayed during winter so like most old houses there were quite a few lady bugs in the kitchen and bathrooms. There is only one shower so getting cleaned up each night after racing took some time but overall it was a great place to stay'

'Very, very clean house with everything you need to cook including a Thermador stove. Restaurants are steps away and include Sushi, Pizza, Greek and Bar food. Beds are very comfortable and bedding is lovely patterns. Dog friendly home with fenced in yard in back. Close to VMI and Washington and Lee universities.'

'Such a lovely and cozy house. We were in town to visit our college student and this housed all of us perfectly! The kitchen is fully stocked making meal preparation easy. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, there was room for everybody. The beds were all comfortable and the reclining sofas & chair were relaxing after a day of hiking! Plenty of good movies on hand (or bring your own) plus enough channels available if you’re in the mood for some tv watching! Board games & cards are also on hand....

'Stayed for a weekend while visiting friends in Lexington. The host, Charles, was incredibly nice and helpful, and the Schoolhouse is cute with an interesting history. Convenient to Lexington and 1 mile away from Lexington Valley Winery. Schoolhouse was clean, spacious, private, with huge yard and river running next to it.'

'Our stay was driven by our visit to Liberty University, and normally we would have stayed at a hotel but everything was booked, and im very glad it was. The property was peaceful and clean and we absolutely loved our stay.'

'I booked this home for my daughter to take her kids on a spring break trip. It was the perfect choice for us. Their plans included taking in a baseball game at Liberty University, frisbee golf, pickleball and a trip to Safari Land. This was the perfect house for them in the right location. The host was very open and easy to reach. We received a great Welcome Guide. The kids loved it so much they asked if we could come back for a summer trip! Would totally book this great home again!'

'This was a great cabin for a weekend getaway. The cabin was spacious and clean. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch! It is in a very peaceful location. We will definitely be back!'

'We had a fantastic time staying at this beautiful Home! It was perfect for 6 adults and 3 kids and for a dinner where we hosted a few more of the family. Our dog enjoyed hanging around the yard as well. Host was very responsive and even gave us some suggestions on things to do. We also really appreciated the menus from nearby restaurant. 'We had a lovely stay at the “Writer’s Cabin!” It is small but so cozy and perfect for two. We had rain at first but when the skies cleared we went for a walk and explored the Chessie Trail. A lovely walk along the river. Hosts are very gracious. Easy check in and check out.'

'This cabin is lovely, cozy and very well appointed. The back deck and early spring views of the Maury river were beautiful and relaxing too. Great location close to Lexington but still felt like a real escape. Our host was accessible, friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back!'
