'The people were very nice and the outside portion of the properties was beautiful. The food was ok but always late. The rooms had no fans to circulate air, holes in the screens and mosquito netting, toilet handle kept coming off, etc. There is also no cross ventilation to move air... it was hot. 'If you like bird watching and going for a walk in a pristine nature, then it is probably the best place within a short distance from Entebbe airport. The easiest way to get to Buvi Lodge is by boat from Entebbe. Ask the hotel to send a boat to pick you up at the harbour, where the ferry goes to Nakiwogo. The resort is very isolated, but you do not have to worry about being ripped for money in the restaurant. I paid 10 US$ for a big pepper steak with fries and a pint of beer. The food is tasty...

There is a beautiful well kept garden area that is surround by flowering bushes, trees and a large variety of birds. 'Wow! What a lovely lakeside resort. I had a beautiful Lakeview from my balcony. I truly enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this resort. On Saturday there was a kids party that got a bit loud but other than that very peaceful place. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast provided was delicious and plentiful.
