The house was very comfortable and our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. They had thoughtfully provided basics like eggs, bacon, bread, butter, marmalade etc. The hillside location is wonderful giving panoramic views of the surroundings fields and escarpment. Loved seeing all the cows and sometimes sheep. The beds are very comfortable and all the windows and doors are screened for keeping the mozzies and flies out. All was very peaceful and we enjoyed the evening and morning kookaburra chorus. It was a great base for we three senior ladies to enjoy day trips to various places in the surrounding area including Bundanon and a Shoalhaven River cruise.

We had a fabulous stay at Tantallon with our young children. Geoff and Penny are great hosts and although they are onsite they gave us complete privacy. It is a stunning property, very peaceful and comfortable accomodation while being very close to Berry village.

Wonderful accommodation in stunning location

Tantallon is a wonderful place to stay. The unit is well furnished with everything we needed, beautifully clean and the addition of breakfast food and other staples was an added bonus. The scenery and serenity of the place can't be beaten. Geoff and Penny were great hosts and very welcoming of us and members of our family who visited us one day while we were there. Berry itself is a beautiful town with lots to see and do. We can highly recommend this as a delightful and convenient place to stay.

Already planning a return visit!

Myself and two friends chose Tantallon for our semi-regular long weekend getaway. By far it's been our favourite stay to date. While only a few minutes by car from Berry town, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere and we were able to relish the quiet surrounds while enjoying some down time The home is comfortable (and, ideally for three adults, had queen beds in each room), the grounds are gorgeous and we loved being able to spend time in the pool. Geoffrey and Penny are delightful hosts, always available but never intrusive, and made sure we were always comfortable. We'd love to stay at Tantallon again in the future.

A slice of heaven

We spent 2 weeks at Tantallon and loved every minute of it. We are usually fairly busy on our holidays but because the property was so beautiful and relaxing, we didn’t do much apart from relaxing and enjoying the pool. Geoff and Penny are terrific hosts, the pool is beautiful and the accommodation very comfortable.

A beautiful. relaxing stay in the country.

My family & I spent a lovely 2 days at Tantallon. The view is awesome, and Geoff & Penny were very helpful and friendly. We had a very nice afternoon around the pool. Berry is a short 5 minute drive away. We also enjoyed walking up to a nearby rainforest waterfall. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay in a wonderful location

Geoff and Penny were great hosts, with eggs from the farm and other essentials on arrival, and an easy going friendly welcome. We loved the quiet and the views, and we did a fair bit of swimming in the pool. All in all a great stay - the only minor distraction a somewhat noisy aircon for the lounge and main bedroom - other rooms have ducted aircon.
