Family Get Together

The property was perfect for us. Eight people and 2 dogs. There was plenty of space, the indoor and outdoor tables were large enough for us all to sit round. The pool area was great.

Home away from home

Sorry because I never actually stayed I can only go by what was said to me, the mattress in room off games room was very hard, top floor showers were cold nd couldn't connect to chrome cast in lounge off kitchen but apart from those things my family still enjoyed their stay

Beautiful private paradise

Had a very relaxing stay, Sophie was a friendly and engaging host, she took our kids to feed the alpacas and horses and they had a great time exploring the grounds with out too much adult supervision. As a family we swam for hours on end in the pool that as warmed by the sun but as it was so hot the cool water was a relief. The house is very spacious and has fantastic views on a clear day. The only negative is hearing the air brakes on the several logging trucks going past at 5am but not a huge problem as we could sleep in. Would definitely stay again.

Best place ever!

Group of 10, house, location etc were perfect. In middle of a farm, private and all animals friendly. Even Harriet the chicken who decided the balustrade by our bedroom window was a good hangout place. She got lots of scratches under her wings. Owners were there pottering around feeding farm stock etc, but were very respectful of our privacy. We will definitely be back.

Loved it our host Sophie was amazing - already booked to go back!

Sophie greeted us at the gate - the house was Perfect for us as a massive family - lots of fun things to do games room, animals for the kids, fire place made it warm as toast. We even took our wee puppy as he had - had an operation. Highly recommend this home for your break away & stay in New Plymouth. We have family in Waitara so 20mins down the road was primo.

Great family stay

An excellent place for a family plus grandparents with different sleeping options and combinations. Our granchildren loved the toys, book, and using the pool which was very clean. Sophie was an excellent host and great communicator, thankyou.

Animals, swimming pool, lots of space

Just outside of New Plymouth, very well presented. nice size rooms and enough for most families, plus easy enough to split between two families. The swimming pool was well used by us. Animals were friendly Our host was very helpful and quick to answer any questions. The only downside, and it wasn't too bad, was that you are close to a highway so there is a bit of background hum from vehicles. Would we stay there again? Absolutely.
