'Very cute little cottage. It is very clean, has all the comforts of home but away from home. We didn’t expect all the little extras that make our holiday perfect such as tea, coffee, milk and even biscuits! There is everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook! 'Hi This is a lovely, quiet little cottage. It was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and has very effective heating (we visited in November). We appreciated all the guide books and large collection of books and games.The stairs might be a bit steep for some, but otherwise the cottage was excellent and we would be happy to stay there again.'

'Very friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant and bar. Comfortable bed. Tea/coffee. Air conditioning! Clean enough. Parking is a pain and expensive £8.20/night. At least the garage is secure.'

'Behind the black iron door there is a lovely well equipped cottage. The best thing is that it is right in the middle of Cheadle and at the same time a quite retreat, the best of both. We are not the absolute nature lovers, but made trips tot Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Close enough for a days visit. But we explored the Peak district as well. We did Buxton and Ashbourne and Leek too. We find the cottage very cosy. We didn’t miss a thing. Everything was there, including good Wifi.'

'We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was spotless and beautifully presented, and the heating was already on when we arrived which made it feel instantly welcoming. The host communicated brilliantly throughout and made everything very easy. The cottage had every amenity you could need, with thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, and even board games. The location was perfect as well, right next to the pub. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!'
