'We had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either....

The location of the property is in the heart of it all, making walking everywhere so easy! Giorgos provided us with many recommendations for food, villages and beaches and they did not disappoint! 'This hotel was really special (the online pictures do not capture how great the property is). We had the larger room for our family of 4 and it was really great. The staff was extremely attentive and the breakfast was lovely (an excessive amount of food and lattes were offered!!). They even offer to bring the breakfast to your room if you prefer. They directed me to a free public lot for parking which was about a 7 minute walk. We would absolutely stay here again.'

'Erg net en modern hotel. Vriendelijk personeel. Lekker keuze ontbijt en meer dan voldoende. Avondeten werd speciaal door Corona geregeld. Diverse Griekse specialiteiten mogen eten. Heerlijk. Coronaregels werden goed gehanteerd. Loopafstand naar diverse winkels, bezienswaardigheden, eetgelegenheid in de normale (niet Corona tijd) situatie.'

'Gute Lage, die Altstadt von Chania ist in 15-20 zu Fuß erreichbar, der Strand in weniger als 5 Minuten.
Das Frühstück im Hotel wird frisch auf Bestellung zubereitet, Personal ist überaus zuvorkommend und die Zimmer modern und sauber.
Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder!'

'Luxury petite hotel located in great location, very close to the beach and the old harbour / town.
Staff went above and beyond to help with requests.
Rooms were spectacular and the sun rise / sun set views were even better. Fresh bottles of water left in our rooms daily. Breakfast was a typical buffet, however there was always little changes IE waffles one day, pancakes another or the omelette was a different recipe.
Pool was great, clean and often not busy.
