It was a pleasure meeting you and thank you for choosing our holiday home for your stay. I would also like to thank you for your kindness and hope to see you again.

Our property description is “We offer a one-bedroom property, in a detached building, which accommodates two separate holiday homes.” There is only a communal entrance between the two properties, so your comment about sharing the cottage is misleading. During your stay, you didn’t mention any problems with the noise from guests next door and we never heard anything from outside. Other guests have mentioned how comfortable they found the bed, perhaps people differ in their preference regarding the softness of a mattress. I don’t understand the comment of a noisy bed. The feedback of the settee having a musty smell is something we haven’t noticed but will check. I wonder why it took you 3 months to mention it. I remember when checking out, your one complaint was that it was too hot for the walks you had planned to do. A very unusual comment for North Wales. The weather certainly was beautiful and ideal for the beaches here. Our holiday home is located in a very quiet area but is within easy driving distance of a lot of attractions. We take pride in the accommodation we offer.

In our description, we made it clear the holiday home is not a detached property. You queried the facilities of the home, before your arrival. We spoke on the phone and were available to answer any questions. With the sofa, the cushions have feathers so I would expect the seating to feel soft and comfortable. You never mentioned to us the t.v. remote not working, even though you saw us a few times. A replacement has been ordered and was delivered in two days. It would have been helpful to have known about this earlier, not only for your convenience but for the convenience of the guests following your booking. I find your comments regarding the sink area, misleading at best. There is a height clearance of 7 ft 6" at the sink, which reduces to 6 ft 2" towards the corner. You are approximately the same height as myself, and I've never hit my head on the ceiling in 17 years. A request was made to extend your stay, but unfortunately we weren’t able to accommodate this. It was mentioned you made an error with the number of nights, when placing the booking. We’re pleased you enjoyed the area. The home was left tidy, for which we thank you and your wife.
