You can't beat the location, even though every downtown in North America is beginning to look like a Mad Max set these days. It's an old place, close, dark, low-set toilets and shower curtains, and ancient balconies. The dinning options are limited and the hours are too.
But, for the price, what are your other options? I've heard lots of people in the reviews saying how everything needed to be updated, and I can certainly see their point, but that updating will come at a cost. And pretty soon, another value option will disappear, and another avenue of travel for the peasantry will vanish.
Two highlights: Alina makes the otherwise passable Fox on Sixth worth a visit (great service), and other reviewers were right: Man, is that pool COLD.
