'Staff are friendly, location is excellent. Very quiet area of San Francisco right next to Golden Gate Park, but it's 2 blocks from muni so you can get downtown (or almost anywhere else) in about 15 minutes. I also love the historical character of the building. Highly recommend this hotel for people looking for the slower, less touristy side of San Francisco.'
'A wonderful gem tucked into a vibrant community. We stayed for a night to enjoy the city after work. We had a terrific pizza with an eggplant appetizer at a place 6 blocks away. The snacks in the dining room were a delightful treat. We enjoyed reading in the study. The bed was very comfortable. This place is a must stay again.

'The Laurel Inn is up in Laurel Heights, away from the tourist/hotel concentration down by the Ferry Building. For us this was a big plus. The motel is comfortable, public transport is right outside the front door - and Muni is a great way to get around - plus there's a shopping strip just two blocks away on California St. A nice place all around.'

'We enjoyed our stay at casa loma. The accommodation is in a older building. So you can hear everybody moving talking etc. Not a big problem for us. And the room was very small. But it was clean. Bed was good too. The receptionist lady was very kind. And helped us out a lot of times. So if you are in San Francisco and Need a good place to stay casa loma is recommended'
'Fabulous breakfast! The old interieur feels authentic. Location is not bad with restaurants in the area at walking distance. Bed though comfortable could do with a new mattress.'

'Great quiet area! Couple streets up is Union St that is all restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and clothing shops all available. Parking was great because we have a pickup and had no issues. Front desk was very welcoming coming in and pleasant while checking out! Will be back for sure, my husband has monthly visits to the UCSF.. '

'Fantastisch hotel voor een verblijf met je gezin in San Francisco. Prima locatie in een veilige buurt op loopafstand bezienswaardigheden. Ook bushalte bijna voor de deur.
