'We really enjoyed our stay. Pedro was such a charming host and carried our very heavy bag up to the apartment. The location is perfect, the beds were comfortable, the temperature was nice and cool during some very hot days in Madrid, and there was plenty of space for us to enjoy family time. We did not mind the four flights of stairs, but we walk and hike regularly. It was also easy to catch a taxi out front. We really enjoyed looking down at all the action from the balcony. 'Excellent stay, owner was very responsive & helpful. We didn’t cook so I can’t comment on those facilities but at a glance they looked excellent. The outdoor bath was very much enjoyed by my son & daughter in law. An excellent touch! Also the other rooftop terrace was lovely. One thing to note is there is only aircon in one of the bedrooms and the living room. Apart from that an excellent stay and the location is absolutely perfect for getting to all the sights. '

Beautifully decorated apartment, with lovely artwork pieces including images of swirling Dervishes, tapestries, vases… A selection of great books from James Baldwin to Amin Maalouf, art books on Madrid architecture, Goya’s paintings… very comfortable bedroom, and so on. If you add the nicest host ever, what else can you ask for? A pure delight! Thanks for everything! 🙂'

'Todo sucio. Camas incómodas, hasta una rota. Sábanas y mantas desagradables. Almohadas sin relleno. Sólo 1 toalla por persona. Falta de utensilios de cocina. Sartenes sucias, etc, etc.... y un olor insoportable en la portería. Solamente 1 juego de llaves para 5 personas y ninguna facilidad para ir a buscar las llaves. '

'Seven of our family members stayed 8 nights. The location was perfect for a quick walk to grocery store, bakery (every day!) and a variety of restaurants. We walked to the Royal Palace, Cathedral, Grand Via, Plaza Mayor and the World’s Oldest Restaurant Sobrino de Botin (Guinness World Records). A 20 minute Uber ride took us to the train for a 40 minute ride to a day in Toledo. We all were very happy to return to “our apartment” to rest for dinner and evening strolls. "Ik had wat reviews gezien waar het hotel er niet zo best uitkwam; maar het lijkt wel of ik dan in een totaal ander hotel heb gezeten! Je zit dan weliswaar in een wijk in aanbouw; maar het is er heerlijk rustig en binnen een half uurtje toch in centrum van Madrid. Personeel komt wat onvriendelijk over maar maak een praatje en ze komen helemaal los…. Zwembad op de 6e etage is prima vertoeven; met een briesje dus flink blijven smeren. Kamer is wat je van een hotel mag verwachten: heerlijke bedden om te slapen; schone badkamer om te douchen en indien gevraagd is het geen probleem voor dagelijks schoonmaak en handdoekwissel (met extra handdoeken)……vakantie speelt zich over het algemeen toch af buiten je hotelkamer. Ontbijt was prima; mensen die klagen over te weinig variatie hebben waarschijnlijk thuis iedere ochtend een buffet staan met 15 soorten beleg; fruit; diverse soorten brood en zoetigheden. Tip: kijk van tevoren wat je wil zien in Madrid en download de Uber app op je telefoon (heb ik ook voor de eerste keer geprobeerd; ging een wereld voor mij open)."

"Echt een heerlijk en groot appartement. Veel ruimte en midden in centrum. Toen we aankwamen kregen we een kaart zodat we ons nog even konden omkleden/opfrissen bij de sportzaal. Supermarkt Carrefour om de hoek, ook fijn om je koelkast en vriezer te vullen!"

"A pleasant stay at this hotel. Nice and quiet rooms with good facilities. Breakfast is great! Metrostation is 10 min walk. When there was no electricity in Spain on 28 april and we arrived in the hotel after a long walk the staff was very nice and we were able to eat and drink! "
