'My husband and are work for the state. Needing a break away from work. Arriving at the property it was breathtaking, as my husband and I entered we were amazed on how well kept the property was. Easy access to the water. Very relaxing and would definitely return.'

'This was a perfect trip. The cabin was cozy and made us feel nostalgic for times past. But nothing was dated in a way that made it hard to use. The electric fireplace was perfect for the Spring trip and cold mornings. We really felt like we were staying at our own lake house. Neighbors were nice, too. The spiral staircase is carpeted and our kids had no problems with it. Internet was fast. TVs looked good. Only thing missing was a disco ball!'

'When we arrived there was no running water. We called our contact, Jason, who walked us through turning the water and hot water heater back on. Had to let the water run for a while to get rid of the bad smell/taste. Also, the bowls of all the toilets were scummed over and there were dead mosquitoes littering the sinks, bathtubs and floors. It was obvious the property had sat empty for some time. Had to buy purchase supplies and clean before being able to use bathrooms. On the plus side, Jason...

'Came down to attend my son’s graduation from Army basic training at Ft Leonard Wood which was an hour away. The house was amazing. Enough space for multiple families. Games for the kids. We didn’t get to enjoy the water much because of the weather but would love to come back in the summer and hopefully stay here again.'

'Such a amazing beautiful place, very clean, kayaking was amazing have never done that before. Had a couple questions and they were very quick to respond. No other houses close by it was very peaceful, went to onyx cave from the book on kayaks. Also went to the castle at haha tonka park that was neat. If your looking to have a good time but be able to relax also this is the place. Promise you wont regret it.'

'Parking was very congested, but each room did have an assigned parking place. The rooms were very clean, it is an older facility, so it had an old smell about it, other than that, it was great. The owners were very friendly and helpful.'
