"Our stay at Munck Maya Calakmul was our second time at a Mundo Maya hotel during this trip — and once again, it impressed. The hotel is beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful details and plenty of comfortable spots to relax. The pool at the top was nice, though a bit too warm, with limited shade and no open bar, which was a small disappointment. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and pleasantly cool. The price-quality ratio is excellent. The food, however, really doesn’t match the hotel’s style — it’s mediocre and overpriced, and the service was below the standard you’d expect for such a design-focused hotel. If the dining experience matched the quality of the hotel and staff were more attentive, this place would be perfect. Overall, a stylish and comfortable stay, but the restaurant experience brings it down."

"Wow! Mindy Maya Edzna is an absolutely stunning hotel — we’ve never seen anything so grand and beautifully designed. The service at arrival was very good; they transported us from the parking lot to the hotel with a cart for our luggage. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. It was also quiet and cool thanks to the air conditioning, and everything was impeccably maintained. The pool area is lovely, with attentive service there as well. The only downside was the restaurant — the food was mediocre and overpriced compared to Western standards. Otherwise, this hotel is truly exceptional."
