'The house was great. The smell of pinesol was a little overwhelming when we first arrived. My mother is allergic to pine, so we had to air it out and wipe everything down. Bedrooms were dark which was nice for sleeping. It was hard to tell when it was morning. We did have an unexpected experience happen the first night. There was a man outside that tried to get in the door and then my car. I beeped the horn, and he moved on to the neighbor's vehicle. They beeped the horn as well. Then...

'I would definitely stay at a cabin here again the next time I come to Palo Duro. The Roadrunner cabin was the exact size and amenities we needed for a short weekend stay. It was clean and quiet. Easy check-in. Great location next to the State Park. Adorable property.'

'This was a great place to stay. I love that it was pet friendly. It was mostly comfortable for my kids and myself except for the bed was a little hard. They provided anything I needed to cook with, do dishes or wash clothes if needed. Everything was tidy and clean. Everything was labeled, so it was easy to find even the light switches, which we were very thankful for. The next time we come back to Amarillo for a family event we will definitely try to stay here again.'
