Despite being only four miles long and half a mile wide at its widest point, the island feels expansive thanks to its untouched natural beauty. Approximately half of North Captiva is preserved land, owned by the State of Florida and managed as a nature reserve. Getting Around:

North Captiva is a boat access only island. There are ferries, or you are welcome to come on your private boat!
