'Property is new and staff is nice. Amenities are decent. Our issue was with the size and design of the rooms. We had booked a king bedroom suite but it was still very small. Everything felt cramped including the bathroom.'

'Overall Skamania Lodge is really great and a great place to visit. We booked two Premier King rooms and they both were overlooking the river. The view and the rooms itself were really great. The reason to give poor ratings is because of the staff. Our room heater/cooling system was not functioning and we tried to call for help at Guest services. None of them came till 20mins post that, and given it was getting late, we called again. The person at the front desk who said his name was Derek, said...

'Hotel was old but clean. Downstairs where restrooms and ice machine was in disarray with items strewn about the hallway. Suggest keeping work area rooms downstairs doors closed to hide the working mess in process. Enjoyed grounds, ease of parking and breakfast. Would certainly return to hotel if back in Leavenworth.'
