'Home was very close to everything. Besides the fireplace not working (not a big deal) it suited 9 of us just fine. Large kitchen and dining area is where we spent most of our time. Plenty of room and kitchen well stocked.'

'We had such an amazing time here. The accommodations were so relaxing and comfortable. We played games, watched movies, hiked, fed the fish in the pond, played pool, made s’mores over a bonfire, played with the dogs and even tried to fly a kite unsuccessfully. 'I reserved this place for the solar eclipse weekend months before. There were no reviews yet as it was a new listing, but I took a risk. I reached out to owner after reservation never heard anything. About a month out, I double checked to make sure I had a reservation since I hadn’t heard anything, and I did. I also saw the other bad reviews at that time. I took a risk and kept as it would be difficult to find a place a month before the eclipse. As I drove to the address and was about 2 hours...

'Cottage was so fun! Loved knowing how old it was! We were 8 people, which was lots for 1bath, but it all went well. Fire pit was a gold star, plus the wood provided. Well equipped kitchen and no shortage of chairs for all of us. Would have liked at least one full length mirror, but no big deal. Had a blast! Thanks, Erik for your hosting and generosity. Erik made things all go well.'

'This house was the perfect place to see the 2024 eclipse. We got to see it from over the lake. I’d highly recommend this house, it’s a one minute walk to the beach. And the house was the perfect size for 4 adults or a small family. The Angola Ark also has the owners very near by and very responsive. We’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!'
